Teenage Adventurers
After a 6 month journey attempting to sail the ocean on her own, 16 year old Abby Sunderland was stranded in the open sea when a wave broke the mast on her sailboat. She was rescued after 3 days while the world thought her lost at sea. But her perilous situation only heightens the question lingering on many parents’ minds – should parents of teens allow their children to attempt a challenge this dangerous at such a young age?
